first recognized the benefits of yoga for overall health on a physical, mental, and spiritual level in 2001, when a friend recommended a local yoga class in lieu of a weekend surfing session. The flowing, peaceful class immediately resonated with him and inspired a journey that continues to this day. In 2007, he completed his 200 Hour Teacher Training through Cloud Nine Yoga School. After that, he taught weekly classes in the Los Angeles area and then in Budapest, Hungary where he lived for three years. Upon returning to California, he completed the Yoga Shakti 300 Hour Advanced Study Teacher Training Program.
