Breath Balance Relaxation

Yoga-Asana is the third of the eight limbs of yoga as described by the ancient sage patanjali. Asana is the practice of performing a sequence of postures, intended to enhance the health of the body, mind and spirit. In each class the sequencing of postures changes as does the theme or focus as well as the pace. Verbal instruction, demonstration, the use of props and gentle touch are used to facilitate understanding. Students are encouraged to regulate the breath, hold a steady gaze, be present and be comfortable.

MONDAY

9:00 - 10:30 am Yoga-Asana: On-going beginners-intermidiate. Unique, moderately paced class with dynamic flows, static asana, and stance work drawn from martial arts traditions. Strength and balanced flexibility, breath work, and bandha (energetic locks) are emphasized. Joyce Anue P.T.
6:15 - 7:30 pm Yoga-Asana Basic Therapeutic Yoga-based full body conditioning classes, posture and gait re-education, breath, balance and relaxation, for all levels including those with special considerations or chronic conditions. Makaya Roma D.C.

9:00 - 10:30 am Yoga-Asana: Flowing and sustained postures, breath awareness, meditative focus. On-going beginners-intemediate Linda Zecca
